The Osterville Village Association (OVA) is pleased to announce that, beginning in 2026, Osterville’s cherished holiday tradition formerly known as the Christmas Stroll will be renamed The Nightingale’s Stroll, in honor of Gail Nightingale and her tireless dedication to the Osterville community.
For many years, Gail Nightingale has been a driving force behind the success and spirit of the Christmas Stroll. Through her leadership, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment, she helped shape the event into the beloved, festive evening that residents and visitors look forward to each holiday season. Her work has left a lasting mark on the village and exemplifies the very best of community service.
In early December, members of the OVA committee presented Gail with a commemorative plaque acknowledging this meaningful renaming. The presentation was a moment of heartfelt appreciation, celebrating not only Gail’s years of service but also the legacy she has created—one that will continue to bring joy to Osterville for
generations to come.
